Yeah you! I’ve installed the Lightbox Box plus plugin for WordPress; if you click a picture it *should* open on-screen, allowing you to view the picture full size without navigating away from the page.

Anyway, I think I’ve got it working (under FireFox anyway) but if anyone is viewing this via Internet Explorer, Safari, etc. and it’s not working, can you please drop me a quick note.

UPDATE: Ok I can’t get Lightbox to function in Internet Explorer… disabled the plugin, needs more research.

Wordpress 2.6 is out but unfortunately not all my plugins are compatible. So the upgrade turned into a downgrade.
Need to get with Julien De Luca
the creator of the theme I use and the very practical plugin that makes customizing the theme a trivial exercise.
Until then we stay with 2.5.

… and learning roller-coasters; ok I *think* WordPress can do everything I want it to do.
Now I just have to get it configured – end even with my very good friend, the internet, this may take some time.

Snarky comments about technology leaving old men like me in the dust are not appreciated.

I tried, I really did.
I finished the site redesign, did a whole 3 column CSS layout, Photoshopped a new header picture, loaded a open source portable image editor and HTML editor on an encrypted thumbdrive and promised I’d post and update on a regular basis.
But I fold. Real life is really time consuming. So I’ve decided to make life easier for myself. WordPress away.
Let’s see what I can do with this.
